It has been a very rough couple of years for the Greeks and the Greek economy. In the latest happenings the finance ministers from the Eurozone are meeting in Brussels to discuss what to do about the Greek financial crisis and hopefully reach a decision that will benefit the Greeks and the Eurozone. The bailout of the Greek economy has been a hard pill to swallow for the Greek people and there has been constant demonstrations rejecting some of the measures being taken by the lawmakers.

In their most recent deal that was struck a few days ago, Greek leaders agreed to make some 15,000 civil servants redundant, end job guarantee provisions, and also slash the monthly minimum wage to €586. This proposal has angered many Greeks as they fear they that will not be able to afford basic goods and services such as petrol and food, much less luxury items such as traveling to Watford to do laser hair removal Watford.

The Greek leaders are also in discussions with private investors seeking to strike a debt relief deal where the government would exchange Greek bonds totaling €206bn and in exchange receive some €30bn in cash and other new bonds that will be not as lucrative totaling €70bn.

These measures are supposed to assist greatly in getting some order to the Greek finances and as such help in convincing the Euorzone to release the bail-out funds totaling some €130bn.

There still those in the Greek parliament who believe that the proposed cuts do not go deep enough and that much more is needed. This is all good and well for a parliamentarian to say, but the Greek people are suffering under these kinds of measure and this has caused an increase in the number of demonstrations.

It will be interesting to see what happens next as the IMF and other lending agencies figure out how much and the condition to be attached to any proposed lending.

The government has had do make some of the toughest economic decisions many of which have not gone down well with the populace. 2012 has been singled out by the head of the CBI as the year the UK must do what it takes to finally rebalance its economy. This will be a challenging task to say the least.

This he believes will help put growth on the right path. There are no easy solutions, according to Cridland, when considering long term growth and the difficult decision must be made now and action taken right away.

Business will have to take advantage of what is happening in the local and world economy and use it to their advantage before they set up and buy new office furniture and employ staff.

The company that produces the well known Blackberry smartphones is incurring significant losses in 2011. Despite the expectations that the company would somehow grow in the current recession, their products seem to lose the sympathy of the world consumers. The company is in a state of serious unpopularity after its smartphones and other devices and services underwent significant problems and some serious criticism from both consumers and experts. Additionally, the strong competition is shrinking the market share of the Canadian industrial giant.

Reason number one why Blackberry is ill performing is because they failed to maintain satisfaction of the market demand. Millions of dollars were consumed by the company to develop already well established applications and services such as BBM and the corporate email services. Thus they failed to invest capital in developing more smartphone-like applications which we can find in iPhone, Android and new Nokia devices. The company has lost nearly 3 billion dollars from consumers that have switched the mobile device recently from RIM product to a competitor. The app market of Blackberry remains a strong reason why many consumers switch the technology - it is incomplete, lacks applications which users seem to be most attracted to and does not provide any gaming experience at all.

Additionally, the company is suffering from a serious deficit in terms of competitiveness. Its new devices resemble its old ones and consumers do not really see the difference. The failure to update software often is also a contributing factor as users are seeking more advanced software features. The market now demands not only innovation in technologies but also some serious software support and regular updates.

The competition, from Apple and Android as well as the reviving Nokia, is already gaining force with its latest innovations in terms of software and hardware capabilities of their devices. Failing to catch up with these trends endangers Blackberry - after all it is not only the email that people are interested in when using their devices - they are looking for more advanced and more serious services as well as new, interactive and completely different applications from what Blackberry is currently offering.

RIM might also incur some interesting reputation problems after corporate people realized that their BBM is not working properly recently - thus City workers might actually bring accidents at work claim against the company simply because the service is quite essential for the business people which conduct business on the go while on their BB smartphones.

When you think about it, it sounds like all those involved in the financial sector have complete control over what they are doing.

while data is indeed transferred to different servers on a daily basis, that isn’t to say that it’s easily taken off them and put back where it belongs

Except there’s one grim reality which many companies face each and every week: loss of data and information. Regardless of the cause – human error or machine malfunction – the result is pretty much the same: vitally valuable data is lost forever and never recovered. Although those in IT can solve many data-loss problems, they can’t solve them all. Which is why you seriously need to think about how you back your information up!

Talking about this now, in 2011, seems a bit strange. Most people are aware that secure shredding of documents is essential…so why are so many people falling into the not-backing-up trap? We think it’s simple: because technology is so advanced, we’d guess that most people just think that it’s easy to retrieve data. And, while data is indeed transferred to different servers on a daily basis, that isn’t to say that it’s easily taken off them and put back where it belongs…

Here are a few handy hints and tips for you to ponder:

Use a USB stick to back up vital data. Or you can use a removable hard-drive. Use ANYTHING and keep an eye on when and where you are backing your data up.

If you have massive amounts of data to back up, consider using a company who specialise in just that. You’d be surprised just how affordable they are, and besides: would you rather lose all your priceless information or pay a few dollars? There really is only one answer to that question.

NEVER rely on one person to back information up: this is a classic problem and something which many people are unfortunately guilty of. Also, just because you have an IT department doesn’t mean you are invincible! Always remember that if you lose clients'data it reflects badly on you and your growing reputation. Nobody wants to have to call a client to tell them this has happened, right?

Every time we open the newspaper these days we find ourselves reading about immoral businesses or greedy individuals doing the wrong thing for a quick buck or two. There’s no doubt that something’s going on in the world and the way that we do business: the unscrupulous seem to abound, no matter where we look.
It’s no reason, then, that things like data cleaning services have taken off like a jet-powered rocket. Data cleaning services can be used for good or for evil, but as with anything it depends on who’s using them, and why. These types of services may be used by companies to keep everything on the straight and narrow, or by others to keep things neat and tidy, but of course these might not be the only reasons behind using a service like this.
Businesses are looking to keep things in order these days because of the vastly increased amounts of data out there as well as the fact that audits and external assessments are so much more common than they used to be. And if you can keep your company in good stead, then why wouldn’t you?
In fact, companies today invest in plenty of digital options to keep everything squeaky clean, and to help manage their data. With today’s globalised world and the amount of information out there, it’s no surprise–resting on your laurels when it comes to this sort of things simply isn’t an option. But with technology changing every day, who knows what kind of digital solutions are going to become available!

President Barack Obama vested all financial considerations of his country in a number of well qualified, portfolio analytics, specialists in investment, bonds and debt trade who needed to conclude packages that would save the economy. But this was all in 2008 and in 2011 it seems that it has all undergone a major change. The same economic cataclysm hit the States after its failed recovery managed to somehow produce some results.

But every story has an ending and it hurts when it is bad. This is happening in the US where the funds deficiency in the private sector due to the dollar currency disturbances, the collapsed markets and the extortionate traders at Wall Street are forcing people to abandon business development and strive for their salvation. This is why many businesses in the States are enforcing shortening measures to cut down personnel and thus preserve some money for darker days. The number of unemployed in the US is increasing with 8,000 almost every day since the collapse of the markets a few weeks back. Slowly, a percentage higher unemployment has been generated and this tendency is till to continue for the next 3-5 weeks.

Even more disturbing is the fact that along with unemployment, consumer confidence that slightly increased a few weeks back, is again falling down thus forcing more businesses to effect shortening measures to preserve some activity on the market. Whether the US would find a way out or it would struggle to recover by itself like an organism from a slight virus, is yet unknown - the consequences from this lack of awareness are, however, seen on the streets of the country where thousands of people are losing jobs daily.

The search engine giant did it all perfectly smooth. While companies talk for years about future plans, Google, quite unexpectedly and hardly discussed with the media, acquired Motorola handset business for 12 billion dollars. The deal was closed under still unknown terms but Google Inc did not definitely need a business loan - such a purchase is hardly anything from what the value of Google would become after it incorporates all of its features over Motorola phones.

The first feature of such a deal is quite clear and easy to predict - the search engine giant has now insured its optimal power as a technology company with acquiring an absolutely developed handset maker. Motorola has the technology, the capacity, the facilities and the resource (both technical and human resource) to produce phones. Google, on the other hand, has the complete advantage of its Android software and quite competitive marketing strategies to promote Motorola especially on the American phone device market. Thus, a brotherhood between the two companies is only formal simply because both are already working over the Motorola devices for years.

The second, and quite more important, feature of the deal is that Google just got more room to develop itself in the war of technologies with other tech companies. With the acquisition of Motorola, the search engine company is making a step forward to proving it is still in the quite beginning of its journey to the top scorers of mobile technology. Presumably, by acquiring Motorola, Google would incorporate more features of its software and web experience thus slowly making the phone another major competitor for the world mobile device market.
